- Swedish classes are offered at approximately 200 universities in 43 countries around the world. There are an estimated 35,000 students studying Swedish at university level outside of Sweden.
- Newly arrived adult immigrants in Sweden are entitled to Swedish For Immigrants (SFI).
- Adult education classes, known as ‘Komvux’, in Swedish as a second language are also available. Both for SFI and Komvux, the easiest step is often to contact the municipality where you live.
- A test in Swedish for university studies (TISUS) is sometimes required when applying for university studies in Sweden.
